Three Generations....

To give better service to its customers, in 1997, Mid-West completed an additional expansion giving the company over 240,000 square feet under crane. This includes a full complement of 17 cranes in seven bays to enable handling of coils to 40 tons and bundles through 15 tons. The building can simultaneously accommodate eight tractor-trailers under roof for loading and unloading.

This new expansion included bringing railroad tracks directly inside the warehouse enabling Mid-West to bring in up to 40 ton coils from the steel mills.
