Mid-West Expands From
Floor Space to Cyberspace

The excitement was contagious as employees and interested onlookers waved and yelled while the first steel freight cars rolled directly into Mid-West Materials' warehouse from the Norfolk and Southern Railway line. The momentum of those first deliveries and the enthusiasm that surrounded them continues today as Mid-West Materials grows and expands its services for customers.

"In a few words, our recent expansion means unparalleled service and efficiency for our customers," said Noreen Koppelman Goldstein, Mid-West Materials' President.

Over the past year, Mid-West Materials' warehouse expanded to over 240,000 square feet. "We have added more equipment, such as a new leveling line, which allows us to service our customers better," she added. "The additional square footage carries more inventory, making it easier for us to buy more materials and consolidate those materials under one roof. Ultimately, that means shorter delivery times for our customers."
