Mid-West Materials' commitment to quality assurance is evident from its long-standing on-site testing facility and more recent efforts towards ISO 9002/QS 9000 certification.

"Mid-West Materials is one of the few processing warehouses in the country concerned with offering extensive testing as a service to customers," stated Brian Robbins, CEO. "The unique lab facility at Mid-West Materials assures customers that its products conform to ASTM standards with information concerning hardness, ductility, tensile, yield, elongation, area reduction, bend factors, and chemical analysis of products."

"When an order comes in and requires special testing, we process it immediately. There is no waiting," added Robbins. On-site chemical analysis is also performed for all carbon, alloy and high strength materials with the LABTEST OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETER.
